Review In Class

              Today in Human Geo we reviewed everything that we have learned this year for a test in the next week or two. We went over everything, but here are some of the main pints we went over. The first one was GPS'. GPS stands for Global Positioning System and had a few different uses that would be possible. But before we go over that, we needed to know that there are at least 4 satellites and that there are tracking stations on earth. The GPS' are used for mainly good things, but sometimes they are used for bad things and by bad people. We also went over the different types of regions which are Formal, Functional, and Vernacular regions. The Formal Region is an area in which everyone shares a common characteristic. A Functional Region is an area focused on a vocal point. A Vernacular Region is an area that is a part of people's identity. We went over many more topics, but these were the main ones I remember.
