              Today in class we talked about the importance of democracy and the government. Over all I leaned that the government did not just form out of no where, it was a long and thought out plan that went on for years until a group of people just decided to change that. Before Jesus' time there were many disagreements in the ruling aspect. Most people did not agree with the decisions that the ruler made. Soon people all over the world decided to make a change. Personally I believe in having a good and strong government in the mix to make decisions for the country. If you do not have this then you will not have a strong country. When the citizens took over and wanted to form our present day government, they did it in a violent way by going in armed to take the ruler out of "office". After this all happened, the new government started to do a new thing called voting. This is used in present day.
